The mission of Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy, Inc. (FCDCP) is to create a better future for people with a disability by increasing and enhancing their lifestyle opportunities
Adult Day Program is a program for seniors and adults with disabilities. The program offers recreation, socialization, guest speakers, and off-site trips designed to challenge participants' minds and bodies. The program also benefits family caregivers who deserve respite from full-time care duties.
Wheelchair Ramp and Home Modification program provides Lancaster and Fairfield County residents with mobility disabilities an opportunity to regain the full use of their homes and property. The construction is performed by a large group of church volunteers called the SMART Team.
The Center's Medical Transportation Program offers free round-trip transportation to qualified county residents attending medical service appointments, 12,175 trips were provided in 2008. 702 people were served in taking them to 6,800 appointments and transporting them 232,706 miles.
The staff at Fairfield Center for disAbilities and Cerebral Palsy goes through rigorous testing and training.
